Pushpa Mrudala Dyanam Workshop

Meditation Through the Gentle Awareness of a Flower

Puṣpa Mṛdula Dhyānam is a guided meditative experience designed to help participants gently transcend mental restlessness through focused awareness upon a flower through touch and fragrance. Using a refined combination of breathwork, sensory observation, concentration, and mindful stillness, this practice trains the mind to move from distraction toward inner balance and clarity.

The flower becomes more than an object of observation — it becomes a doorway into subtle awareness, silence, sensitivity, and presence. Through guided techniques of breath synchronization, visual focus, and meditative absorption, participants gradually learn how to withdraw the mind from excessive external stimulation and cultivate a natural rhythm of calmness within.

This workshop is especially recommended for beginners who wish to establish a stable and accessible meditation practice without force or complexity. The gentle nature of the meditation helps reduce mental agitation while increasing concentration, emotional softness, and inner steadiness.

Attendees Will Learn:

  • How to calm the mind through guided breath awareness
  • Techniques to improve concentration and one-pointed focus
  • How sensory awareness can become a doorway into meditation
  • Methods to reduce mental distraction and restlessness
  • How to observe without overthinking or reacting
  • The connection between breath, awareness, and emotional balance
  • Foundational practices for entering meditative stillness naturally
  • How to create a rhythm of inner calm in daily life
  • Techniques for grounding and nervous system relaxation
  • How to cultivate mindfulness through simple observation
  • The art of withdrawing attention from excessive external stimulation
  • Practical methods to begin and maintain a personal meditation practice

Through This Practice, Participants May Experience:

  • Mental relaxation and clarity
  • Emotional softness and calmness
  • Increased present-moment awareness
  • Improved focus and patience
  • Inner silence and subtle sensitivity
  • A deeper connection with nature and self-awareness

This guided meditation workshop offers a simple yet profound introduction to meditation by transforming an ordinary flower into a powerful tool for awareness, stillness, and inner peace.
